While we enjoy lovely gardens, we lack the knowledge and inclination to maintain our "patch" of paradise. Family, business and community limits our time to do any "useful" gardening at home. Karen Fletcher from Kai Gardens has been our gardening saviour (not to mention stress saviour).When we first met Karen on site, she was interested in how we lived, what we liked and disliked and how we wanted our garden. She listened & queried us without ever making us feel dumb. Her comments of "It could do with a trim" or "it's not in the best spot" gave us a confidence that she was willing to make the best of what had been done in the past without ripping everything out and starting again. She has arranged some new plantings, moved others to better spots in the garden and the place looks great. She also dealt with an the ever-expanding agapanthus problem without any fuss.Karen is very caring and highly professional. She has quoted all work and listed the plants that she recommends for each area (with web links to images and plant details). Her communication throughout the job is a real feature - we know when they will arrive and how long they will be on site. They turn up on time, do the work without fuss and clean up as well - what more would anyone want.The results achieved by the Kai Gardens team has been excellent. I now enjoy looking at the garden as it is a source of delight - not a problem to be dealt with! We have known Karen for more than a year and will continue to use her knowledge, contacts (arborists) and team’s skills to maintain our garden for many years to come.
